And find your ideal skin tone
Modare Ultraconforto presents here some information to help you demystify what nude is. Let's find out together?
Do you know what your skin tone is? No? That's ok, after all, we women have varied skin tones, especially in Brazil, with its rich diversity, presenting 144 different shades (Census). And each country presents its own reality.
When we talk about skin tone, we are speaking about the amount of pigmentation (melanin) that each person presents and which is genetically inherited, without interference from the sun rays. It is divided into six types, widely used around the world and also by the SBD (Brazilian Society of Dermatology):
Extremely white skin: always burns and never tans, being very sensitive to the sun;
White skin: always burns and tans very little, being sensitive to the sun;
Light brown skin: burns and tans moderately, with normal sensitivity to the sun;
Medium brown skin: burns little and always tans, with normal sensitivity to the sun;
Dark brown skin: burns rarely and always tans, and is not very sensitive to the sun;
Dark skin: never burns and fully pigmented, being insensitive to the sun.

Demystifying nude
It is important to mention that many times the skin tone is still associated with a single nuance, being treated mistakenly to indicate a light beige or pinkish nuance. Let's face it? This, in reality, is a concept that is not restricted to one color, but to several, in reference to what is unclothed and what is closer to your tone.
Real changes in day-to-day life
Fortunately, several brands and companies have been approaching this term in a more real and diverse way, such as Faber Castell, which launched a line of skin-colored pencils with 6 different shades. This year, in another example, Google developed technology that brings together a palette with 10 skin tones, applying the scale in their searches for images in Google Photos.
Already in 2021, Pinterest - one of the most searched platforms when it comes to inspiration - has included the skin tone function, refining its beauty-related searches.
There are several other interesting initiatives, such as the one by Brazilian photographer Angélica Dass, who created the Humanae project with 4,000 photos bringing skin tones of people photographed in 20 countries and associating them with the colors from Pantone's catalog (a worldwide color forecast company). Check out the amazing result here.
The inclusive tone in fashion
Fashion has also been adopting the skin tone concept in a more comprehensive and intelligent way, and the shades are ultra-elegant, versatile, and women's allies. Modare Ultraconforto presents in its collection different inclusive products that meet different skin tones and can be applied in various moments of the day to day, such as the camel color, found in the model with block heel, or even in the flip-flop sandal with Reflex Sense insole, and the sneaker with buckle detail.
Another option is almond, an earthy and very natural tone, available on the slingback and loafer. There is also the beige hiking sandal that shows off the beauty of the stones, and the cream clog with upper in laser cut and drawings that resemble embroidery. And to finish off in style, the shoulder bag, featuring quilted details, comes into the scene.
